Om the symbol - Do you know what it means?

The Om symbol on the back of the t-shirts and also on some of my bracelets is a sacred syllable that is considered to be the greatest of all the mantras, or sacred formulas. The syllable Om is composed of the three sounds a-u-m (in Sanskrit, the vowels a and u coalesce to become o), which represent several important triads. One of which is: the three worlds of earth, atmosphere, and heaven. (from Encyclopedia Britannica)

To hear an amazing rendition of the Om Mantra go to:  www.nawangkhechog.com  and listen to the sample of "As Long as the Grass Grows by  Nawang Khechog.  The CD title: "A Distant Place".  You will be captured by the sounds, and probably listen to it over and over again.  I suggest buying the CD so that you can experience all of it.  Khechog performed this Mantra when he accompanied His Holiness The Dalai Lama in Denver this past September.

The w.w.b.s Concept - The concept of w.w.b.s began as a fun philosophical phone conversation. My "soul sister" had the witty idea of making up a shirt just for fun and presented it to me at the annual family gathering. It was at that point when I realized that a monster had been created.

The whole thing began churning in my somewhat warped brain, and out of that came t-shirts and bracelets. I could feel my poor sister shuddering as she watched me spiral. It was out of our control...... Words like tolerence, acceptance, appreciation, rejoice have been the message delivered throughout the ages by the greatest leaders that have been - at least up to this point. So what would Buddha say? Maybe something like....don't judge your brothers and sisters, embrace them.

Amazing bracelets are on the following pages. You will find great mixes of beads: Krobo beads from Africa, several different styles of Tibetan Prayer beads from Malas, and carved Olive Wood beads from Bethlehem. Lapis, jade and several other things have been imported from India. There are even Cloisenne turtles.

So take your time and see how these beads have been mixed to create wonderfully unique and diverse looks that you won't find anywhere else. The w.w.b.s letters and the pewter Buddha add to the fun, but if you like a more understated look you can decide if any of these should be modified to your taste.

Also featuring, custom made t-shirts-wwbs on the front and "What Would Buddha say?" along with the om symbol on the back.
